ENSA - Eastern Nebraska Sailing Association

The Eastern Nebraska Sailing Association is a club composed of individuals and families interested in all aspects of sailing.  Our members come from Omaha, Council Bluffs and surrounding areas.  ENSA helps all members enjoy a variety of boats and sailing events, improve their skills and meet other sailors.

Our club is associated with the Lake Manawa Sailing Association and we launch our boats from their private beach and docks. Lake Manawa Sailing Association hosts a number of  social events during the year and we all enjoy the fellowship and food.

Sailing is an excellent sport of all ages, and we try to make sure that you enjoy this sport as much as possible.  You can be competitive or kick back and relax.  We race at Lake Manawa, south of Council Bluffs every Wednesday night and every other Saturday during the racing season.  Our racing season starts in middle May and lasts until early October.  We have many types of boats in our club, from little dinghies all the way to 25 foot cruisers.  We also have windsurfers and catamarans.  We thrive on improving our skills and are always willing to help newcomers with setting up, tuning their boats, racing rules and tactics.
